WALLEM-WESTMINSTER ACTIVITY AT SAN ANTONIO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL(SAES)

George Hoyt received a warm and enthusiastic welcome at Wallem-Westminster’s partner school, SAES, evident in the lively reception from students and teachers. Visiting three classrooms, Mr. Hoyt was impressed by the students' impressive knowledge of geography and maritime-related topics. Despite the sweltering heat, visible by the sweat on his shirt, George thoroughly enjoyed the experience, appreciating the students' intelligence and engagement. In the final classroom, George was deeply moved by the students' kindness and compassion as they serenaded him with a heartfelt song. One student even gifted him a bracelet for good luck. Students lined up and performed the “Mano” gesture, a Filipino tradition of honoring elders and seeking their blessing. These moments symbolized the immense joy and respect forged during his visit. George inspired the students with a motivational talk before bidding farewell. His visit was truly significant, marked by genuine connections, humor, and boundless happiness.
