VISIT TO LANDAYAN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (LES)

During his second visit to Dohle Seafront’s partner school, LES, George Hoyt eagerly anticipated reconnecting with two special students who had left a lasting impression on him during his initial visit. One student had a fondness for Norway, while the other aspired to become a flight attendant. Impressed by their intelligence and confidence, Mr. Hoyt brought them gifts: a collection of coins from various countries and a winged pin from an airline. Engaging the entire class in discussion, he distributed coins for each student to examine, asking them to identify their countries of origin. The students' excitement and delight were palpable as they received coins from foreign lands for the first time, graciously gifted by Mr. Hoyt. He also received beautifully decorated thank-you cards with heartfelt messages from the students, the result of their collaborative effort. As he departed, a group of students eagerly waited outside, hoping to capture a photo with him. The overwhelming excitement on their faces painted a picture of inspiration and joy. Indeed, it was a visit overflowing with positivity, genuine connections, and happiness.
