Meeting with Fleet Management Services Philippines

To encourage more companies to participate in the AAS program, a meeting took place between the AASI Team, led by IMO Ambassador George Hoyt, and the Owner's Representative of Fleet Management, Capt. Abhishek Sinha, along with his team on August 6, 2024. Capt. Sinha warmly welcomed the AASI team and engaged in a meaningful discussion. George Hoyt provided a detailed presentation of the AAS program, thoroughly explaining the brochure and outlining the program's objectives. He elaborated on the program's current initiatives and how Fleet Management could play a role in promoting maritime awareness among the younger generation. Capt. Sinha, who values inclusivity and the mission of providing equal opportunities to make a difference in students' lives, expressed a positive outlook on participating in the program. He was hopeful about their involvement and requested time to deliberate with their top management. Capt. Sinha, believing in the power of shared goals and collaboration, showed a strong interest in contributing to the maritime industry through the Adopt a Ship program.
