The day-long launch with Anglo-Eastern concluded at Laguna Resettlement Community School, the third participating school. Led by School Head Mrs. Rosalie Mabale, the LRCS community warmly welcomed delegates from Anglo-Eastern, represented by Atty. Kim Cabuhat and Ms. Dia Cernol, along with the AASI Team headed by C/O Jeffrey Aldas. In her opening remarks, Mrs. Mabale expressed heartfelt gratitude for choosing LRCS as a host school. She emphasized the unique opportunity the program offers students to learn about the maritime industry and explore different types of ships, preparing them for future aspirations. The event featured captivating cultural dance and song performances by LRCS students, setting a vibrant and enthusiastic tone. Atty. Cabuhat delivered an inspiring message, highlighting the program's mission to broaden students’ knowledge and present them with diverse academic and career options. C/O Aldas followed with an introduction to the program’s objectives and implementation phases, engaging students with interactive activities and exciting games. To support learning, teachers were presented with 2x3-meter world maps, enabling students to track their adopted ship’s movements and deepen their understanding of global shipping routes and geography. The program concluded with heartfelt closing remarks from Ms. Liza Nolasco, who expressed appreciation for the maritime industry partners and shared optimism for the program’s success at LRCS.
